DATA ACCESS

Data Access for Research Projects
2023

Cost per 36-month Data Pull:

The Midwest Health Initiative (MHI) stewards a large, limited dataset representing health care received by approximately two million commercially insured people across Missouri and its bordering metropolitan areas. Data elements are collected from medical and pharmacy claims, as well as enrollment and provider files.

Upon executing a Data Use Agreement, researchers in academic, government, and non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations can obtain defined data files from MHI for projects.

To inquire about obtaining MHI data for your research project, please contact Justin Powless, MHI Operations Manager, at jpowless@stlbhc.org or 314-721-7800.
