Our Work with Physicians

MHI believes strong relationships between physicians and patients are critical to strengthening our health care system. With this in mind, the MHI Physician Leadership Council (PLC) provides clinical guidance, and the knowledge that can only come through experience as a practicing physician.

Through the leadership of the PLC, MHI recently sent more than 1,200 physicians private Clinical Quality Reviews showing how often their patients received care consistent with nationally recommended standards. Another 2,000 physicians received reports showing care across the community and compared to national benchmarks. 

MHI looks forward to continuing to provide information to physicians and supporting their efforts to improve care quality and affordability.
